Place and Landscape. Two words that, while interconnected in the Greek language, do not perfectly coincide. On one hand, they help us understand the connection between a landscape and a place, and on the other hand, they describe distinct spatial conditions, implying a different perception of the world. Landscape is a cultural concept that we perceive as a physical entity, while place is a cultural concept that we perceive as identity, as a complex, physical and human entity.
