Description

It was March 2020 and we all stayed home. Three months remained until the 12th LEA Festival, and after the cancellation of the scheduled events, the organizing team decided to take a step forward and include in a book the pandemic-related responses of certain Ibero-American and Greek authors who had participated or were about to participate in 2020 in the Ibero-American Literary Festival of Athens.

Sixty authors, both established and emerging, warmly shared their writings with us, most of them unpublished, to create this quadrilingual edition. Each text, whether poetry, essay, or narrative, reflects experiences, thoughts, emotions, sorrows, dreams, and hopes. This is the anthology of a year we will never forget, marking the divide between the world of yesterday and the world of tomorrow.

The LEA Festival (Literature in Athens), after canceling all in-person events in 2020, wanted to capture in a book the experiences and reflections around the pandemic from sixty Ibero-American and Greek writers who participated in the Festival. They enthusiastically contributed their texts to this quadrilingual book. This is the anthology of a year we will never forget, a turning point between the world of yesterday and the world of tomorrow.
