Those of us who circulate in the publishing world are constantly involved in such conversations, sometimes we disagree, sometimes we agree, but one thing is certain: we never lose our interest for a moment.
Inspired by these endless discussions, we thought about the theme of this year's calendar. Thus, we had the idea to ask our authors to write us a short piece about a book that defined them, changed them, they love very much, played a role in their lives, shaped them, whatever they want, freely!
And here are 51 authors talking to us about "their most personal book." We thank them very much for responding to our call. And also for creating, with their work and love, for all these years, "our most personal books."

I have spent a lifetime reading, meeting, admiring, and envying, fearing, and loving people and characters who only live within books. Everyone who loves me knows: my oldest friend is Tom Sawyer. I know everything about him that close friends know about each other. But if I had to choose one among all these friendships, loves, and adventures to marry and settle down with, that one would be the Blue Bear.
He is my hero. The one I love again and again. Out of his 27 lives, he has told me half of them. The other half he keeps secret. The truths I have lived and relived with him, every time I read about him, dawn and dusk in the wonderful Zamonia: where things and miracles happen; where cleverness is a contagious disease and the waves speak; where dangers are deadly and love is eternal. Where the air smells of snow… and fires burn far away… and a hint of cinnamon. The scent of adventure.
